Finally, there is a video iPod™ integration solution that is simple to implement,
maintains passenger content privacy and is easy on the budget! DPI Labs introduces
the Personal Video Switcher, PVS™. Unlike traditional solutions,
the PVS™ facilitates iPod™ integration independent of the cabin entertainment system.
To safeguard the privacy of the passenger’s media content,
the source is displayed locally and is not distributed throughout the cabin.
Local video is switched automatically to iPod™ video when the unit detects a
signal from the RCA jack on the complementary panel. This stand-alone solution
lowers integration costs and is ideal for new and retrofit applications.
The unit is compatible with all analog video formats, including non-iPod™ sources,
and incorporates video briefing and PA audio override to meet FAA requirements.
For more information regarding the PVS™, please contact DPI Labs at (909) 392-5777.

procurement to build components for stock, thereby expediting scheduling
upon switch panel arrival. This proactive approach reduces the
out-of-aircraft schedule to 7 days. Documentation is provided to assist
the customer in communicating the configuration of their system.
Pricing discounts are available to multiple programs completed within a
calendar year. DPI Labs has PMA qualification for all L60 switches and
